Dear Family and Friends,
We had a wonderful Christmas. We were able to attend three sacrament meetings and the music was wonderful. We were also able to Skype with all of our children. Sarah is in Savannah, Georgia where she will be training for twelve weeks. We sent her a package for Christmas but she said she hadn't received it. But, the Stakes in the area had put together gifts for the missionaries. We also received a gift from the Visalia wards.
We went back to visit with a couple to see if their were going to have their nieces for Christmas. They will be their fostor parents. The wife said they were waiting for a phone call. The call came at that moment and we were able to take her to the office to sign papers that way her husband didn't have to drive all the way home to pick her up. She said she was hoping to borrow two dresses so the girls could go to church on Christmas. We called the Relief Society President to let her know and the president called a lady in the ward who took dresses over and made sure the dresses fit. The little girls looked beautiful on Sunday morning. The gospel of Jesus Christ is full of love and service.
We love you all. Elder and Sister Sheffer
